Ciphertex NAS servers support USB printer sharing (max. 3 USB printers) and offer printer sharing over the network and remote printing over the Internet via IPP (Internet Printing Protocol). Print job management and Bonjour printing for Mac OS X are also supported.
Web File Manager
Ciphertex NAS servers provide a web-based File Manager for you to access and manage the server data anytime, anywhere by a web browser. Web File Manager supports intelligent data search, batch files upload and download, file extraction, and so on. With the support for encrypted data transfer and access control management on the Ciphertex NAS server, you can access and share the data by Web File Manager securely.
Ciphertex NAS servers allow file sharing across Windows, Mac, Linux, and UNIX platforms. It also supports WebDAV for you to access the shared folders via HTTP/HTTPS protocol remotely
The RADIUS server centralizes and consolidates user authentication by maintaining a list of user accounts that are authorized for remote network access through dial-up equipment, Wi-Fi access point, or VPN connections.
Allows the IT administrator to effectively collect and store logs of other network devices in the Ciphertex NAS server. With the Syslog server feature, the IT administrator can easily monitor the status of these devices and troubleshoot problems when necessary.
The VPN (Virtual Private Network) service allows remote users to access the NAS server and other resources on the same local network from the Internet. Users can access all services provided by the NAS server.

Virtual Host Supported Web Server
You can host multiple websites on Ciphertex NAS server with the built-in web server and virtual host feature. The Ciphertex NAS server supports PHP, MySQL, HTTPS connection, and SSL authentication. It is the ideal solution for you to create your own websites.
The built-in antivirus scanning engine protects the NAS server from becomming a carrier for virus and other malware. Scanning is available by scheduling or on-demand. Automatic or on-demand signature updating through the Internet is also supported. Signatures can also be updated from a file for Networks without Internet access.
For business with needs for a directory service the NAS server can be turned into a LDAP server and centralize user privilege management.
You can connect to maximum 16 IP cameras via Ciphertex NAS servers and set up a video surveillance system with comprehensive monitoring, recording, and playback features.
ISO CD/DVD Archiving and Sharing
Ciphertex NAS servers support mounting ISO images of CD and DVD discs as network shares for data archiving, storage, and sharing. This feature saves the space for storing the physical discs, reduces the risk of data loss caused by disc wearing and tearing, and enhances the performance of data sharing on a business network.
You can set up Ciphertex NAS servers as FTP servers and share the files conveniently with your friends or customers.
