Hardware Based AES-256 Bit Encryption
With a focus on data protection, Ciphertex AES 256-bit encryption is hardware based without suffering any loss in performance. Our encryption is the foundation for our end-to-end Matrix SDS data protection and secure appliance.
Role Based Access Control
Ciphertex Matrix SDS administrator’s can configure users permissions for access at the storage object level. Through this strict access settings can be created to protect your data throughout your storage system.
Storage Grid Security
Secure your appliance communication. SSL/TLS 1.2 with strong ciphers encrypts all communication for data replication and grid management communication.
Client Security
Matrix SDS client security includes data on the protection, secured through SMB3, HTTPS, and IPSec. User Authentication (CHAP) can be required per volume, user level, and chosen storage clouds to easier manage your data accessibility and bolster your data protection.
Redundant Protection (RAID)
Our Matrix SDS software RAID extends your provision by duplicating your data across nodes. Software RAID is supported at the storage pool level and RAID configurations can be RAID0, RAID1, RAID5, RAID6, RAID10, RAID50, or RAID60.
Snapshot Technology (BCDR)
Snapshots take digital “images” of your data at set points in time. Snapshot schedules can be created for automated data protection or done manually for quick and easy data restoration if needed.
